Camp Director for Girls

CHERYL MOHR
(Fond du Lac, WI)

CEO/ President of
Higher Level Camps

Traveling Team Coach
Practice Coordinator

Cheryl Mohr, who grew up in Milwaukee, WI, was All-Conference and All-American at Milwaukee Hamilton High School.  She played college basketball at Arkansas and professionally in Columbus, Ohio. She was fortunate to travel to Brazil and Africa with Athletes in Action. She had the opportunity to coach high school and college basketball. After doing this for 5 years in the late 80's and early 90's she saw a lack of fundamentals being taught to the youth. She began teaching private basketball lessons at the Fond du Lac YMCA. From this, Higher Level Camps was formed.

Mohr serves as 1st Lieutenant Governor for Wisconsin AAU and holds a position on the Board of Review and Wisconsin Board of Managers.

Excerpt from Milwaukee Journal/ Sentinel Article
"...There are a handful of other programs throughout the state, the most renowned being Cheryl Mohr's Higher Level Camps, which is based in the Fond du Lac area.

"Programs like Mohr's and Noll's are the exception, however. Mostly there are a number of individual teams that are coached by someone who coaches a group of girls through high school and then starts over with another group."
