17 Girls 18 Boys (College Prep Program)

(2008-2009/ entering college in the fall of 2008)

This program is designed to give boys and girls the opportunity to play, develop your skills

as you prepare to play college basketball in the fall of 2007.  This program has:

                                   1. 4 tournaments

                                   2. 6 practices

                                   3. Individual workout program (Driveway Drills/ Weight Program)

GOING BACK TO THE BASICS

HLC will continue to go back the basics with you and teach the fundamentals of the game. 

We will work on your inside game, outside game and inbetween game.  You will continue to

be pushed out of your comfort zone and we prepare you to play college basketball.

THE LOST ART OF SHOOTING/ JUST ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL

Over the years shooting percentages are on a decline from the pros all the way down through

the high school level.  The main reason for this is boys and girls are playing in way too many

games and not taking time to develop their skills.  The amount of practice time to the amount

of game time had decreased.  There is no way kids practice as much as they used to.  This trend

of shooitng percentages on the decline will continue until something changes.  HLC had taken

a stand to bring the basics to evey boy and girl who desires to take their game to the next level.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

As you prepare to start a new phase of your life, we would like to take you back to the basics to

continue to develop your inside game, outside game and inbetween game.  Great shooters have

great footwork and the difference between the good player and a great player is you know how to

do the little things right and you know how to make your teammates better.
